Yes, while double bass drumming is way overabused, it is still kinda cool when it's done right. Me, I prefer double bass or even contra bass.

8Oh, I feel I should add that one thing which IS CRAP was that horrible trend where two bass drums were set up and the second one was never used. Tons of folks were guilty of this in the hard rock scene of the late 1980s, but favorite example of this is probably Nick Mason. I mean sure, I love Live at Pompeii, but where's the blistering footwork Nicky?
