Sending back food at a restaurant?
I have sent back meat maybe twice in my life. I love medium rare beef, but in both situations it received a bloody mess. I don't like doing it, but it's not crap in those circumstances.
What is Crap, are the people that make a habit out of it. A friend of mine's mother used to ALWAYS send back at least one item that she ordered. Whether it was soup, salad, or the main course, something always was sent back. I guess she felt that at nice restaurants it was a sophisticated thing to do. CRAP.

2if it's no good (as in cooked poorly or bad product), send it back!!!! if it's something you've never ordered before and you just happen to not like it, don't send it back and consider it a learning experience.

3From a food service perspective, it's better for a customer to send something back than to leave a shitty tip or never return.

4CRAP!!!
Lucky (a girl I used to live with who Peppers used to work with) would send her meal back EVERY single time we went out to eat. EVERY time.
Drove me absolutely insane. So ignorant and rude.
She'd send a whole plate of food back 'because there's too much salt on the fries' or something equally insane.
She very well may have been the worst human being on the planet in every way, this was just the cherry on top.
She was rude to waitresses all the time, complained about everything asked for extra stuff she wouldn't even use. Ugh. What a terrible person.
If it's completely fucked up I could see it, like to where it can't be salvaged at all but how often does that happen? It's happened to me once I think, but even then I was very apologetic...and it was pork way, way undercooked. I didn't wanna die.

7not crap if something needs to be cooked. only then, doesn't matter if your dumbass ordered something you didn't like. i'm not about to make sure i still hate seafood at a restuarant. (really, i hate seafood.)
everytime i worked in a restaurant, i found that mostly ladies do it, and most of those ladies are quite bitchy aside from the back sending. cunts. they sit there and bitch about every goddamned thing, even the crazy looking dishwasher shooting daggers at them. (hi.)
i don't like people who don't just eat their fucking food.

8Whenever someone does this, I am mortified.
It is even worse when they have reason to.

9I once saw a lady send back a very expensive bottle of red wine. It was a couple hundred dollars at least, and she just wasn't impressed enough with it.
I am still stunned by the memory of that one.
