Mine's broken, the md drive can now only playback, not record anymore.. seems like the recording head got damaged.. i guess it's not possible to repair it, and getting a new drive is probably not easy/more expensive than getting a working md8 from ebay. the md8 can still be used as a live mixer, but using it as a recording mixer is tricky as it only give out the signal of the single channels when in recording mode.. so you have to "record" an md while you use it as a mixer, and after 18mins, when the md is full, the "recording" will stop, meaning no signal from the channel outs and you have go back into recording mode..

looks like all i could do is sell it on ebay for really little money since it's broken.. or has anyone any better idea, maybe a hint how to get it fixed or modified?
