Anyone live in Brighton or nearby?

Well, it's really fucking expensive... and a lot of the more pretentious DJ sorts from London all moved down a couple of years ago, right? Lots of joss sticks and tapestry stores...

Massive population of British crusty types, I've been told.

On the other hand, it's my favorite English city so far.

I realize that the plural of anecdote is not data, but every time I have been there the sun has been shining. My experiences with the rest of England did not mirror this. I had several lovely meals there, including at the Brighton Museum. Surprisingly nice and affordable lunch there.

Additionally, the best jukebox ever is in this pub.

I would have sat in there listening to the music that played on it until they threw me out, had not some fellow who had shat himself not sat down beside me.

If I was going to live in the UK, based on my limited experience so far, I'd move to Brighton.

I have good friends there and, y'know, Quadrophenia, all that...

Someone tell me I'm wrong.

You're wrong.*

*I don't really know if you're wrong because I don't know what you just said means. I've been to Brighton once and it ruled but I was only there for a day and I'm a yank so my opinion of it surely doesn't matter.**

**I was basically just telling you you were wrong because you told me to and I'll do anything you tell me to if I there's a chance it will make you happy.***

***I just want to make you happy.
