Drums for Scotland Appeal

is it a question of numbers i.e. scotland is too small to spawn a significant amount of drummers, given that only 1/10000 people want to be one?
either way, our nation's high musical potential is being stifled by lack of rhythm. so:
send us your drummers!! every US band i see over here seems to have an incredibly good drummer, probably raised in the suburbs, with access to a drumkit in his parents' garage, and a couple of guitarists down the street.
c'mon, you could do with a few less; we could do with a few more!
