If you have recorded at Electrical Audio, you have likely encountered this wonderful little game. Here are the rules:

1. Name an artist/band
2. Respond with your opinion of the band (either "Crap" or "Not Crap").
3. You are not permitted to explain your answer.

This game is far more difficult than it seems. Be binary. Be pithy. Do not explain your answers -- because you can't. Here are two examples:

I have literally ended friendships over other people's responses in this game. Well, not friendships, but definitely acquaintanceships. I have also gained respect for people whose taste and fortitude I had previously doubted. Play well, and many thanks to the Electrical Audio staff for sharing this game with the world.

P.S. By my count, there are exactly three Not Crap bands on this list.

There is one huge flaw to the game. Some bands like ZZ Top have a few great records with one choice record (zz top's first), and a whole lot of horrible records. Does a bands later terrible period negate all of the earlier stuff?

What you view as a flaw is in fact the beauty of the game. You must choose based on ALL factors. A band can be mighty at one point, but devolve into State Fair-dom. A band can enlist Gary Cherone as its new vocalist. A band can record "Tres Hombres" and "Recycler". A band can record "Rocks" and "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing." That's just how it goes, and you'll have to factor these variables into your answer.

But we have already said too much.
