a hint of justice in the world of rock commerce

_back in black_ just hit 21 million copies sold. it's in the top five all-time now.

of course, it's tied with _billy joel's greatest hits vol. I and II_

and _eagles greatest shits_ is still number one, following closely by _the wall_

Funny - a friend yesterday was expressing his amazement over the 11 million albums sold by Coldplay.

There loads of these lists, I don't know why it's a challenge to find an official one.

BUSINESS AS USUAL - MEN AT WORK

WTF? I thought this band only had like two (s)hits!?

Salut, Rimbaud III of the creepy-eyed avatars!

Here are Men At Work's hit singles from the top of my head:

Who Can It Be Now?
Down Under
Be Good Johnny
It's A Mistake
Dr. Heckyll & Mr. Jive
Overkill

I think that all of these songs made the Billboard U.S. Top Ten singles chart except Be Good Johnny, which was an album track that received significant airplay. That's a pretty good run! Other songs like "Maria" and "Man With Two Hearts" might have been international hits. I don't know.

I liked "Overkill". And maybe "It's A Mistake". Kind of. But this is a band that can be pretty easily dismissed. Sorry, Men At Work! You will cry yourselves to sleep on your piles of gold!

In 2003, Men At Work frontman Colin Hay released an album called "Man At Work". Sadly, this album featured reworkings of most of the aforementioned hit songs -- including TWO new versions of "Down Under". So sad and painful to hear. I like his funny eyes, though. Actually, they're kind of like Rimbaud III's avatar.

I have to admit that the stupid "Down Under" video was so funny to the little Iowa boy. So gae, but so funny to the little Iowa boy. Greg Ham playing the flute in a tree with a stuffed koala bear tied to him and the kangaroo hopping were funny things to the little Iowa boy. Wtf.

P.S. Who are the "Supertramps" at 18 million?

Mr. Weissenberger, this is the worst song title I have ever heard. Thank you for bringing it to my attention.
