This ain't important, but...

1. the Gil of Gil Scott Heron. Is it hard or soft G?

2. Neve. Is is definitely neeve? Have heard minor variations along 'Nayve' lines.

3. Sennheiser. A man who sold me some headphones pronounced them 'Zennheiser'. Hmmm.

4. Studer. Stooder? Stewder?

and while we're on the subject:

5. F.A.Q.. I said 'fack'out loud today and it sounded weird.

thanks for any clues...this wwould make me very happy.

definitely like gill, as in fish.

not sure about neve, sennheiser. i always thought neeeve and senn-hize-er.

sennheiser? don't even know her! harumph harumph.

i know for a fact, though, that when coming out of a mouth in the know, moog rhymes with vogue and rogue.

do you mean the neumonic F.A.Q., for 'frequently asked questions,' or fake italian for 'fuck?'

is no matter. either way, is so much fun. faqing and also with the questions!

ciao,
mc

If someone who knows him personally could prove me wrong, it'd be appreciated... I always thought it rhymed with "hey". I once met a former club bouncer who beat him up on one occasion (he allegedly yelled at this club bouncer-- someone I wouldn't have messed with in a million years for a million dollars-- for drinking beer), and the bouncer-guy pronounced it as described above.

I haven't seen Instrument; i'm sure the answer lies somewhere therein.
if i got lasik surgery on one eye, i could wear a monacle.
