i represent a consortium of people who have reached the decision that we cannot survive another year without fugazi. we have all been affected in different ways these past five years of woe. there are those in our group who have become mere shells of their previous selves. many within our ranks can no longer enjoy or sustain an erection. this must end now.

we are petitioning for one j.lally and one b.canty to abandon their positions as dedicated parents and rejoin the ranks of fugazi for immediate touring, recording and maybe a game of shove ha'penny.

I prefer what Ian is doing with the Evens to the last Fugazi record, and I would have thought that whatever the others do outside of Fugazi might well have the same chance of being refreshing and new, so I don't mind if they've gone for good, to be honest. Soz.

Far be it from me to even vaguely imply that B.Canty has probably already long abandoned his partner and children in favour of life on the road with a bunch of muscular gay men, but last I saw him he and the rest of Bob Mould's band were sporting matching fitted t-shirts, luxurious moustaches and firemen's helmets*.

Last I heard, which was a couple years ago, Joe had moved to California.

I'm not in any hurry for a new Fugazi album. I think they should take another 10 years, wait till all their kids are teens or older or whatever.

When I was trying to set up an Evens show last year, I was told that Joe Lally was living in Portland now. I've also heard that Guy has a new band as well, but there hasn't been anything too substantial about that.
