Hey, Louisville is building a nice little program. Louisville loses LeFors and Shelton, but brings back Brohm and Bush. Reloading (as opposed to rebuilding) is the sign of a good program. But please don't confuse Louisville with the top tier SEC, Big 10, Big 12, ACC and Pac-10 schools of the world.
By the way, good luck in the Big East. I mean it. But one thing: I wouldn't be holding out the Big East as some sort of measuring stick of true greatness. The Big East already lost its two best programs in Miami-FL and Virginia Tech. In addition, Boston College is almost always seemingly ready to bolt, which I guess makes BC the Bobby Petrino of college football programs.
Retract at your leisure, Bradley.
Until Louisville whupped the Mountaineers last night, the Big East had three undefeated teams, two ranked in the top 5 (only the Big 10 can match that boast), with Pittsburgh at a very respectable 6-2. If the Cards can win out, they will be playing for the national championship. And they will have accomplished this feat without the services of their best player, Michael Bush.
Next up: the Scarlet Knights. Go Cards!
