That's not exactly what I would call my baggage. More like "Trunk Junk" or "Sin Pillows," but if you insist...........................

I pay attention to you specifically since I noticed 2 things:

1. We have practically the same taste in music

this frustrates me because

2. Your opinions about feminism are for shit

I don't wanna play PC ball, I just don't feel the same need that you demonstrate to preserve the boys club atmosphere around here. It seems like you like it that way, and that an enviornment which is more respectful to all genders/orientations of people would spoil your fun. Just callin' it like I see it.

I'm a thoroughly liberal, fairly sensitive yet not PC guy. I have straight friends, lesbian friends, and minority friends who all seem to like me and who have never accused me of being a patriarchal oppressor, a rapist-in-waiting, or Uncle Charlie.

What we need to do is find you some nice gay boys to make friends with. That would clear this whole mess up.

I hope your "lesbian friends" and "minority friends" smack you for refering to them that way...cuz that's what I do to my friends when they say dumb shit like that.

OK before this otherwise great thread becomes a humorless pillory, 3 things need to happen:

1. Ty you need to retract your statement about ladies counting themselves lucky. Guy gets raped, worst case he gets AIDS. Woman gets raped, she can get AIDS AND a baby. *shudder*

2. Someone needs to give another lighthearted anecdote.

3. Someone needs to start a "Poll For Gay Guys" poll.

Lesbians, you're on your own.

I haven't been to Berlin in years, but I fondly remember it being fun, diverse, and playing great music. I'd get in with a fake ID and dance to Wax Trax noise, plus, it was the only bar where my closeted-self, and straight friends could go and have a fun time with a buncha weirdos, (this was back in the late 80's/early 90's).

There's some bar in Boystown called Sidetracks. Back in the early 90s, it was either just opening or maybe it was getting renovated? Can't remember. Anyway, the theme was this medieval/castle motif. My friend waited tables with this guy that would pay $5/hr to anyone that would help with the mundane task of sanding the edges of foam core 'bricks' that were then painted and used for the castle-like decor. We did most of the prep work at a space in Buena Park while listening to US99. Then, there were a couple days spent at the club where I assisted putting some of these bricks on the wall using a hot glue gun.

Sidetrack is the biggest bar in Boystown. It's seriously big and boring. No blowjobs in the bathrooms at Sidetrack. Boring = Crap.

Ok here we go.
There was a gay club in the town I grew up in that wasn't too bad and they had one of the consistently funniest drag shows I've ever seen.
One time I was at the show and a guy comes up to me and says:
Hey, there's a dark room in the back, want to go check it out with me?
I say: Thanks but no thanks, I'm straight.
He says: So am I, want to go check out a dark room with me?
Me: No.

Other than that I am definitely not ashamed to have been to many gay bars over the years. Both with my significant lady others and without. Seriously what's to be ashamed of?

I may have had my ass grabbed at that club once or twice as well and I'll agree with Ty. Gay men do not know how to hit on someone.

Neither do straight men.

God, no shit. I pretty much have no desire whatsoever to even attempt "hitting on" someone in a public place, specifically because i

And i have no desire to pile onto that shit.

My conclusion: i'm doomed.
