I took a bunch with my camera phone!

Dianogah were great--I haven't seen them in a long time, and forgot how much they rock live. This is one of the bands that I expected my girlfriend to classify as "boring stoner music," but she was really into it. I guess it's a different experience live; there's so much bass, and it's so loud it makes you want to poop.

Shellac were great as well. What fun we had!

Now I'm nursing an ugly little hangover from drinking too many PBR tallboys.

Excellent show.

So much glorious, flowing hair on the stage.

I think Dianogah covered a Hum song?

When Steve emerged careening on the stilts, I overheard Russ ask "Are those the new ones?"

I saw pretty much everyone who mentioned needing a ticket. A+

A lot of people came from far away to see the show and a very nice amount of money was raised from ticket sales and Jay Ryan's beautiful posters/talkie tubes.

Salut, artists and contributors!

My stomach hurts from laughing so much. And my head is pounding from all the drink.

ticket sales brought in over $9000. on top of that were the benefit CD sales, a number of nice donations, and the poster sales (about a $thousand last night). i will have the remainder of the posters available at thebirdmachine.com on monday, for $20 plus shipping.

dianogah had a total blast. thanks for listening. steve on the stilts was amazing. sound on sound did great, dj damon locks played 'repeater' just before we started playing, and 'i lie' (raygun) immediately when we finished. i couldn't have been happier.
