One I forgot about, Cafe 28 on Irving Park Rd. near the el tracks, is really fantastic. Cuban/Mexican/Latin cuisine. Excellent drinks also.

A couple more good Cuban restaurants are Cuban Island and Rancho Luna, both within a block or so of each other on Peterson Ave.

Cafe Bolero on Western, south of Fullerton, is good also. But Cafe 28 is the best of the lot.

Opart is the best Thai food I've ever eaten.

I like what I'm hearing.

Angelina Ristorante near the corner of Broadway and Addison, is a fine Italian restaurant. Reasonably priced too.

i am literally eating pita inn right now. al khayemeih kills pita inn in the schwarma dpt - though is pretty damn good. i think i may like pita inn's hummos more.

For Middle Eastern, Sultan's Market's chicken schwarma(sp) is better than any I ever had in the Middle East.
