it sounds like the cocorosies already did this.

Yes and you are about a year late here, other people way smarter and more witty than you have said the same things you are attempting to except they were better at it. I have gone back and forth with them all. What's your point here? You think they suck, ok. Great. Thanks for sharing. Lots of people do here, see? Read the thread.
Add a new element here or just fuck off, for real.

I loved them the first time I heard the first record.

Someone tell me what's so fucking offensive about that first video?

If that was Bjork doing exactaly the same thing you fucking people would be queefing with excitement, 'Oh she's a genius'
But oh it's Cocorosie I know it sucks before I even play it, I HATE them....right? Aren't I supposed to hate them? Are we still hating them? Yes? Ok, then like I said I HATE them!

Have you? If I think of a, what I think is a funny way to talk shit about them I post it. This dude came in and just says 'They suck'
If he can think of ways to post saying they suck that makes someone laugh then I'm all for it

Ok. First of all, I apologize for not jumping right on the Marsup/Cocorosie thing at the outset. I've lurked for a few months but never made a post until March. I guess the thing that inspired me to post on this specific thread was the fact that they have performed with an orchestra. It sickens me to think that the type of ensemble who could perform Stravinsky would be a backing track for a meaningless pop mistake like Cocorosie.

I not too big on Bjork. Some ok music here and there and one or two decent songs. More and more she just seems like another Beck, David Bowie/Byrne, Madonna type who is just appropriating whatever is popular at the time, even hiring the same musicians she 'borrows' from.

So, did anyone else change their wikipedia entry? I don't really care if that was funny or not to anyone but myself. I was taking the piss with Cocorosie and Wiki simultaneously. I apologize for not being as witty as the regulars but you gave them more to work with. I can't knock it out of the park if you can't get it across the plate.

In the end, I'm just morbidly curious why you like them, especially since you like a lot of the same music as I. I thought that you were just playing around, pretending to adore them but I guess not. You claim that they are doing something new and taking chances but have failed to back that up.

I said they do new things and take chances with their own compositions. That's what I said.
As in, they write and record and release a song a certain way then play it way differently each time and constantly add things to it, mess with it, meld it with different songs, etc... They do new things and take chances with their own existing music.
That's what I said.

I have explained many times why I like them so much, just two posts ago I explianed to YOU why I liked them. Why does anyone like a band? I like their songs and I think they are interesting. I don't know what else you want from me.

So, by doing these things to their songs live, just by rearranging their songs, they are doing something new and taking chances? I saw the Rolling Stones live once. They did the same thing: extended songs, rearranged them, went from one to another; they didnt interpolate songs; does Cocorosie? I mean, it doesn't really seem like they actually do anything thats new or takes chances according to you.

I can understand liking something just b/c. I like that Mr. Oizo song with the puppet in the jeans commercial way more than I should.

I didn't mean to upset you. I was just having a laugh.
