I imagine his diary entry describing his first sexual experience reads a lot like this.
Then something like, 'I can't believe how gentle and loving he was. I was scared he'd be rough with me, him being a truck driver and all'

Hey, I would have stood up for you.

Then I read your prom post. so gay, dude.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Actually, I recently shifted from "NB consistently plagiarizes Lester Bangs" to "I'm NB's bent-dick lover". I used to go with "NB gets stabbed with his own knife" but that got stale after a few weeks.

Well...it's just that you described eating watermelon as flavor sparkles dissolving in your mouth.

I wouldn't even describe Pop Rocks that way.

The only rock scribes who write like that write for free alt-weeklies that people pick up to see show listings. I'm pretty sure in Chicago, nobody really cares what Miles Raymer thinks, and he's not even the worst offender.
You call me a hater like that's a bad thing

I am sorry. Please do not damage your scalp because of something I wrote.

I'm loathe to try to explain this further than saying "it sounds that way". That their music was personal them seems obvious to me from its unique nature. They put across something a highly unusual way. Their music puts across a weird universe of their own invention, very precise, evocative of something strange - themselves. This dedication, and their elegance in applying it genuinely moves me. That's as far as I'm going to dig.
