their myspace page doesn't do them justice. there are far better tracks on the record.

Chiming in with another "live show kills the recordings." I downloaded a track or two and thought nothing special, but went and saw them anyway once because I liked the other bands. HOLY SHIT AMAZING. The power to the amps went off and the drummer kept going with an extremely simple repeated snare hit that fit with what they were doing. Power back on, back to amazing.

I saw them again recently though. This time it sounded like listening to the record, except while watching some guys jump around. I'm not really sure what to think anymore. Because again, live show was great, record was meh. I left two songs in that time.

I like this band a lot, but I'm biased - my band toured with them for a small bit. They are the hardest working band I know at the moment - check out their Black-Flag-like touring schedule. They are humble guys with good taste, and I can easily see them putting out consistently good records for years to come. And BJ is an ace gorilla drummer who knows how to tune his tunes well.

Some people here won't like the Health Disco stuff (dance remixes, basically) so, OK, ignore that then.
