there's a restaurant in that area called Feed The Beast. been there a couple times. the food was really tasty, the atmosphere was pretty unassuming, and fine by me. i'd recommend checking it out if you're looking for a place in that hood that doesn't suck.

some friends and i have discovered that it is fun to prank call them and ask (in your best Lucky Charms voice) if they have anything magically delicious.

also, ask them if they can Paddy O'Splaine what is in certain dishes.

they really don't seem to catch on, and generally you get straight forward answers.

as for their amazing bartenders, a friend of mine asked what micro-brews they had, and then had to explain what a micro-brew is.
