22Well, my FAVOURITE set up is running into a Fender Quad, an Ampeg V4 with a 2x18 and a 70s silverface Twin. But seeings I am poor I stick with The Twin (and sometimes a 250watt Marshall bass amp too). Get with the Value For Money!

27I have a Super Reverb reissue and it is by far the best purchase I have made beside the 62 jaguar. those two coulped together make me cry often.

28I like my Deluxe Reverb Reissue. It's been tweaked here and there to smooth it out a little. I wish it was point to point, though, for longevity purposes. Oh well.

30lazybones: cheers to the deluxe reverb...my best friend has one and it's the cleanest sounding amp in the world...put an old school tube screamer in front of it and it's indescribable.
myself, i have an ampeg reverberocket 212 that sounds quite nice...not your standard sounding gain, but cool and midrangey...sort of tom petty-ish sometimes. sounds delightfully dark with my gibson nighthawk's double coils.
to whoever mentioned the JCM 800: i would kill a family of 5 for a 1984 JCM 800 100W head...it's absolutely my holy grail of amps. they're getting harder to find pre-85 ones when marshall changed the design slightly...also so many of them were modded back in the day, it's tough to find one that's original. and less than like 4 grand.
also, my guitar player has a pretty rockin '68 twin and a '72 les paul that sound deadly together.
