My long hair cat has never been happier.

That is one pissed off kitten. I would totally cut my cat's hair like that, minus the stupid fur boots thing (those aren't necessary, are they? I don't own a cat, never have) (actually, maybe that is why I would cut "my cat's" hair like that).

1) Be found hoarding 80 animals in your home.

I'm 6/80ths the way to #1.

We have to get Dr. Livingston shaved about once a year because she gets matting on her ass where she can't clean as welll. I love love LOVE the lion cut. My girlfriend prefers the long hair because it's jet black, but this is less fur around the house, and it's FUCKING HILARIOUS. A couple of Dr. Livingston's haircuts:

Keep in mind: this cat it all black, but for some reason she has light grey roots.

She looks like a Dr. Seuss character and struts around after the haircut like a major diva. It makes her really happy. Zero waffles even though her wierd nipple sac looks totally sick when exposed.

Yeah, sometimes it's necessary with the Maine Coons. Our guy Spot was just miserable one summer and we gave him the shave, making him much happier. He'd strut around feeling all fancy.

This is Spot with the lion cut:
