Back in the day Electro harmonix made a thing called the Hot Foot that let you control the knobs of a pedal with a foot controller. Does anyone still make those things? Seems like I could build one with a old volume pedal and a drill snake attachment, but I'd rather just buy one.

Sometimes, you will come across a 3rd hand being sold used.

That said, prices are not exactly cool when you do.

(I don't have a PA and don't really want to buy one for this purpose)
The only Neural Plug I have (Cory Wong thing) runs in stereo, You can even change the mic placement/choice for each side if you are into that kinda thing.

Insane prices. I ordered a flex extender for a Dremel and am going to try to build one into an old wah body.

In remarkably good news, I'm getting a Travis Bean standard from a friend, I assume in a few weeks or so. It does need a little work at the nut, and I'm wondering who you trust to do that kind of thing. I'd really prefer not to ship and I wonder if I could get one made by someone who knows these instruments and have it installed by a luthier here in Boston. Any other ideas?

The other thing is this particular one is non-standard; the lower bout is shorter than the upper one. Essentially it's a body shape similar to a Kramer. It's either an old mod or maybe a weird prototype or something. Would anyone out there know? I'm not an old-school aluminum guitar person, so I don't know who to ask - figured someone here might.

Thanks, and excited to joint the club!

Exciting! I don't believe there were any TBs that had this mod done at the factory. I've seen one or two that have had this happen on Reverb/eBay over the years, so I'm curious if it's one of those!

It looks to have a lot of stuff I don't need (and seems GUI heavy). For now, I just found a free bass amp plug (Ignite Amps SHB-1) and will run things at a very clean (and stereo) setting just to take the direct sheen off some synth/triggered sounds.

This one may have been up for sale a while back but it didn't sell. My friend got it back in the 90s, pre-eBay, back when you could get fun gear easily.
