this past Friday, I went to Philadelphia to see Kowloon Walled City. they were tremendous. the venue was a little weird, not much of a PA, so I think it was just vocals, kick and snare in the PA - stage volume for guitars and bass. they had it dialed in perfectly. magnificent -just the edge of breakup- tones. super loud, but clean. bass tone is not to be believed, as it loaded up the room perfectly. scott is an incredible performer, and plays possibly the prettiest telecaster I have ever seen. and it was all over by 940, so I got home at a reasonable hour. the absolute dominance and command of the room was impressive. go see them if you can.

This made me LOL. Was more or less what my teenage daughter said.

Ambulance was stolen near downtown and is now like 70-80 miles from the city. Apparently it was going 90 MPH then had a blowout of one of its back tires. Somehow it is still going, riding on one bare rim.

I really hope I get to see the conclusion of this..

EDIT: now over at a little after 6:30 PM local time. Guy pulled over, got out slowly, and then tried to make a run for it. I have no idea where this guy thought he was gonna go on foot; middle of nowhere on an Interstate highway in farm central, Illinois, being chased by multiple officers and K-9 units.

[I somehow missed that after he made a run for it, he attempted but failed to carjack a pickup truck.]

That was great TV.

Found video of it already posted on YouTube. Scroll to about the 29 minute mark

Have seen enough of these chase videos on YouTube to know that if you make the police follow you for miles in a vehicle, and then you get out and force them to pursue you on foot, they'll be all too eager to tackle you. Something about making cops break a sweat, after they've driven after you for hours, gets them all worked up. And if you hide in some brush and make their helicopters use FLIR in broad daylight, it'll make them even madder.
ZzzZzzZzzz . . .

I was there as well! Great show--my first show as an audience member since Om in March 2020.
