Is it like selling houses, where the smell of coffee or fresh-baked bread would help you score higher? Maybe complimentary cookies or some ice tea?

522My girlfriend told me yesterday that someone she works with went to Mexico with some friends and tested positive the night before her flight home. You are allowed to fly within Mexico without providing a negative test, so she flew from their resort city to Tijuana, rented a car to drive across the border, then flew home from San Diego. I'm thinking that bordered a little bit on irresponsible.

524Wow, that’s quite a loophole.iembalm wrote: Fri Apr 22, 2022 11:10 am My girlfriend told me yesterday that someone she works with went to Mexico with some friends and tested positive the night before her flight home. Instead of exposing people on one international flight, she exposed people on two domestic flights.
I have tended to be on the more cautious side during the pandemic, but at this point I have to wonder how effective the test requirement is. Practically all of Europe has lifted it.

Re: Little Details from Your Day
528this past Friday, I went to Philadelphia to see Kowloon Walled City. they were tremendous. the venue was a little weird, not much of a PA, so I think it was just vocals, kick and snare in the PA - stage volume for guitars and bass. they had it dialed in perfectly. magnificent -just the edge of breakup- tones. super loud, but clean. bass tone is not to be believed, as it loaded up the room perfectly. scott is an incredible performer, and plays possibly the prettiest telecaster I have ever seen. and it was all over by 940, so I got home at a reasonable hour. the absolute dominance and command of the room was impressive. go see them if you can.

529WGN Chicago news is following a stolen ambulance chase.
I am not sure why this is must-see-TV, but I cannot turn it off.

530Stolen ambulance? Bad choice. I've driven those in GTA, they tip over like crazy.
Definitely good tv though. An ice-cream van would have been better. A garbage truck would be the real chad move.
