I'm wondering if he realizes that "Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness" and the free market are foundational thoughts in American liberalism. He seems like someone who likes those things.

If I were to guess what would be worse for the USA in 2024... a first term for DeSantis, or a second term for Trump... I'm going to lean Trump would be worse, but it's pretty damn close. The fact that DeSantis holds similar views and is actually a politician may make him even more dangerous.
