Headcleaner is straight-up classic.

I'll go even further, even though the later Neubauten records can be a little hit or miss but I usually like more songs than I don't.


I also like later Suicide. A Way of Life is good, Why Be Blue is better than it's reputation and I straight-up love American Supreme.

I didn't know that this one was hated. I always liked it. It might be the first or second album by them I ever heard (Washing Machine being the other).

To my ears Tabula Rasa sounds like the inevitable result of a band that has made their own rules, compositions, and instruments over several years, as does subsequent albums. I haven't paid close attention since Perpetuum Mobile but will always have an interest to hear what they are doing.

Another:

Bush, Sixteen Stone.

This band was massively, massively hated at the time, called a Nirvana ripoff. Seems kind of silly in retrospect. Nirvana were great but not the most original band themselves.

"Everything Zen" rocks and there are some other bangers on this one. "Swim" rules.
