I will keep your three golden rules in mind next time I go see a band play
1. Size of venue = quality of music
2. Band has option of soundcheck = must be good band
3. The more people that give a shit about your band= the better the band
hm, i almost 100% agree with malling except that i saw richard buckner play to like 15 people a year ago, the sound was pretty shitty, and the club was completely unknown -- still, one of the best shows i've ever seen. but then again one person doesn't really constitute an entire band so that's an exception to the rule. also bands that are great but opposed to soundchecks, 21+ clubs, tuning their instruments, etc... actually, i guess change 100% agree to like 50% agree in theory.
