Fluke 8060A is the classic audio tech's field meter. No longer produced, I found a new in box one on eBay two years ago for about $100 ($400 new?). They pop up on eBay, grab one cheap and then have it factory calibrated.

I have SPDIF outputs (one coax and one optical) from my DVD player and my cable set top box but the surround sound input to my older receiver is discreet 5.1. Is there some hardware conversion available to handle this? Ideally this converter would handle multiple inputs.
