i have a lot of confusion.

how do i split the 2 sides of the figure 8 mic in an m/s? do i just take the mics channel and duplicate it then pan them hard left and hard right? or does each lobe of the fig 8 get its own seperate chanel...if so, how do i split them? a seperate outbox or something ...

i have a m500...no N or C though attached to its name. its amazing on soft vocals and cab make clean guitars sound very precice. good as a room mic in some cases and good for overheads...

i understand mr. cobains vocal sound on most of the songs...on all apologies you can hear it best, came from puting delay on a room mic? or a mic a little back from the close mic he sang in. i hope that helps you.

for some reason i seem to love the way the SE z3300 sounds for vocals...not a very popular mic but i love it.

bass drum sounds perfect for the music...very metal!
to be honest...the snare sounds a little ...idk dry i guess. other than the snare...thums up.

hello, i have a rectangular room where i tend to record drums and some guitars in. it is 10ft x 24ft and 7ft tall. its walls are covered in semi-gloss paint on sheetrock. the floor is carpet over concrete. no windows.

the room rigt now has bad reflections. it certaintly doesnt add anything good ...

58s are your standard dynamic vocal mic for live stuff, but it is NOT special. i guess the touring rules out nice condencers, but the 58 wont make your voice sound bad, as far as live vocals go.
