I don’t think I’ve ever seen those two bands grouped together like that.

Live is… yuck.

Shudder to Think. I knew nothing of them and then saw them open for Pavement. IMO, they totally blew them off the stage. I now realize that it probably isn’t that hard to do that, but for at least a good 45 minutes I liked that band.
Sure, I'm being unfair to this band I remember disliking in 10th grade. They seemed really overwrought, is all.

I feel this thread needs more pop punk. There's got to be plenty of worst band candidates among NOFX, Blink-182, etc.

Guttermouth has got to be one of the absolute worst bands of the Warped Tour scene/era. Derivative, misogynistic, and one dimensional.

There's a less known punk band from my state called The Nobodys who were total garbage. They'd write songs with titles like "I Like Your Tits". If anyone was ever worried about a punk band being bad for an impressionable 13 year old mind, it was those guys. Ugh.

I saw that 'X French T-shirt' video in 9th grade at a friend's house and we laughed at how terrible and (we were stupid kids in the '90s) flamboyant it all seemed. After getting into Slint and a lot of math rock a few years later, I went back to that album and it became one of my favorites from that era. Don't go back to the video though..

ah yes.. I despised this band even back then, and as you might tell from ^above I was hardly enlightened. They were also just terrible musically.

Uhm besides that one song which I don't hate aren't 4 Non Blondes pretty not remembered at all? Worst ever for me has to be something that really sticks in the mind. Maybe it's me being of a different generation.
Same with Nickelback, haven't they been out of the spotlight for the last 15 years?

Anyway, mine is a Swedish band called Gyllene Tider ("golden times"). Roxette guy's first band. Liked by boring hockey-playing teenagers. My impression of them is very connected to my childhood so I don't know if an outsider gets it.
They made an attempt at an international career by recording some of their songs in English. Almost makes them sound worse.

May I submit...Bowling For Soup. Dumb band name, irritating songs.
"Whatever happened to that album?"
"I broke it, remember? I threw it against the wall and it like, shattered."
